Stay Connected With The TrolMaster Aqua-X Irrigation Control System with Water Detector set
One of the most powerful features of the Aqua-X system is the internet connectivity to connect the unit to the Amazon cloud service. TrolMasters free smart phone APP offers monitoring, controlling and receiving push alerts anytime anywhere.
The Aqua-X also features the ability monitor actual growing medium moisture levels by using up to 8 Water Content Sensors connected to a single Aqua-x controller.
Irrigation Control
The Aqua-X system is a professional-grade irrigation control system. It is a fully customizable modular designed system. Installation is simple and the system is easy to expand.
The Aqua-X is designed to control up to 30 separate irrigation zones individually. There are 3 types of control modules.
OA6-24 for controlling up to 6 solenoid valves.
Up to 5 OA6-24 can be connected to a single Aqua-x providing a maximum of 30 individually controlled outputs to connect to your solenoid valves.
OA6-110 for controlling up to 6 submersible pumps.
The OA6-110 control board is designed to control small 110V pump or solenoid valves (less than 1.5 amps). The OA6-110 has 6 separately controlled 120 volt outlets.
DSP-1 for controlling irrigation pumps
The TrolMaster DSP-1 program device module (timer module) works like a multi-function irrigation timer. The timers for the DSP-1 can be set to activate at specific times of the day or night, as well as configured to function as a recycling timer with or without a maximum number of cycles setting.
The Aqua-X system also offers the ability to monitor the pH, EC and water temperature. A sensor board AMP-2 is designed to connect sensor probes to the system.
Up to 5 control modules in combination can be connected to the system. The timers can be set-up to be recycling timers or to operate at specific time of day and durations, down to 1 second ON time.
pH Sensors
PPH-1 Resevoir pH Sensor
The TrolMaster pH probes provide accurate and reliable monitoring on the pH of the water being monitored by the Aqua-x. The PPH-1 probe connects to the Aqua-x via the AMP-2.
PCT-1 Reservoir EC/Temp Sensor
The TrolMaster EC & Temperature probes provide accurate and reliable monitoring on the EC and temperature of the water being monitored by the Aqua-x. The PCT-1 probe connects to the Aqua-x via the AMP-2.
PPH-2 Inline pH Sensor
The TrolMaster pH probes provide accurate and reliable monitoring on the pH of the water being monitored by the Aqua-x. The PPH-2 probe is a commercially rated probe and it connects to the Aqua-x via the AMP-2. It is intended to be used inline with existing pvc piping and also can be placed into an water tank.
The Entire Aqua-X System
The Water Detector (WD-1) pictured here comes with the Aqua-X main controller.
The WD-1 water detector can be used in one of two ways. First, it can be used to simply monitor the floor or a space for water… as a leak-detector. The other way the WC-1 can be used is as a water-verification monitor. When used in this way, the water detector is placed where runoff will accumulate (or where water is being introduced to the growing medium). Each output (solenoid or pump) on the Aqua-x can be assigned to a specific WD-1. Every time the solenoid or pump assigned to the WD-1 is activated by the Aqua-X, the WD-1 must detect water within a adjustable delay time. If water is not detected (pump or solenoid failure) the Aqua-x will send out a user alert notifying of the irrigation failure.
Up to 25 WD-1 can be connected to a single Aqua-x.
